NSK Liberty is seeking a Second Shift T echnician or Technical Specialist with knowledge, skills, and abilities that will serve to carry out the company objectives and the following responsibilities. WORKING AS A TECHNICIAN OR TECHNICAL SPECIALIST FOR NSK - Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems throughout manufacturing plant. Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment and facilities. Learn machine troubleshooting techniques both electrical and mechanical. Ability to apply and demonstrate electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery electrical control equipment and circuitry. Uses machine troubleshooting techniques/knowledge to repair minor machine conditions under supervision. Learns central systems, their functions and how they integrate with operations. Monitors and tests equipment to identify and diagnose and repair malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of central systems. Repairs and rebuild mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment. Reads and understands mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints. Identifies parts/components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and can explain functions of components. Maintains neat, organized routing of wiring and follows standards of good workmanship when routing wiring and mounting components. Able to pull prints, identify and request components. Installs, maintains, and repairs electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Work in a safe, responsible manner complying with all Safety and Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
