The company is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join the CSAC (Chip Scale Atomic Clock) department. This role involves assembly, testing, and inspection within a cleanroom environment. Microchip provides comprehensive on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with micro components and precision microscope work.
  • Basic computer skills for logging data, reviewing documents, emailing, and online training sessions.
  • Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).

Nice To Haves

  • technical certification or associate degree is a plus.
  • Wire bonding and/or adhesive bonding experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly in a cleanroom environment.
  • Operate semi-automated surface mount pick and place equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards.
