The company is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join the CSAC (Chip Scale Atomic Clock) department. This role involves assembly, testing, and inspection within a cleanroom environment. Microchip provides comprehensive on-the-job training.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Experience with micro components and precision microscope work.
Basic computer skills for logging data, reviewing documents, emailing, and online training sessions.
Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).

Nice To Haves

technical certification or associate degree is a plus.
Wire bonding and/or adhesive bonding experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly in a cleanroom environment.
Operate semi-automated surface mount pick and place equipment
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards.
