About The Position

Entegris is seeking a qualified and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join the Gas Operations Specialty Coatings team in Danbury, CT. This individual will serve as a key contributor to the ALD coatings production processes within a controlled cleanroom environment. The Danbury Specialty Gas Operations facility is a dynamic and fast‑paced setting where safety, precision, and operational excellence are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement, along with experience safely handling hazardous materials. A focus on meeting and exceeding production objectives while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards is critical to success in this role. Shift from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience working directly with hazardous materials in a manufacturing clean room environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials and safe handling practices.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, CamLine, basic computer applications, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and R&D, to support process optimization initiatives.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and focus.
  • Proficiency with SAP, CamLine, and standard computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work on site full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ALD coatings division by performing a variety of production activities within a controlled cleanroom environment.
  • Execute coatings operations in alignment with established production targets and schedules.
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions across laboratory and cleanroom settings.
  • Ensure all products consistently meet required quality specifications throughout each stage of the production process.
  • Assist with equipment upkeep, including routine preventative maintenance (PM) and basic troubleshooting.
  • Work off‑shift hours or weekends as needed to support production demands.
  • Contribute to additional manufacturing activities as required.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety excellence and continuous improvement.
