About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician III supports manufacturing operations through maintaining, problem solving and repairing machines and maintaining spare parts inventories. Work consists of technical tasks that are typically not routine. Adhere to Quality Management System requirements. Ensure equipment safety features are operational and equipment is safe to operate.

Requirements

  • Two-year vocational school in Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar field of study or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing systems typically obtained through extensive experience or education.
  • Gives and receives moderately complex technical information.
  • Able to work with limited supervision, providing assistance and training to lower-level employees.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing machines and equipment to determine root causes and perform repairs independently.
  • Document machine repairs as required by the Quality Management System.
  • Perform complex machine set up and programming.
  • Specify and perform preventive maintenance on electronic and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform in-house calibration of equipment.
  • Specify, source, and maintain spare parts inventories, materials, and tools necessary to support manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform complex technical tasks assisting engineers with electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
