About The Position
Safe use of various equipment, follow process specifications, and meet production standards to manufacture products. Perform various operations safely to supply products to meet customer requirements. Use gauges and other measurement devices to insure accurate output of products.
Requirements
- Ability to learn/cross train on multiple workstations.
- Perform SAP confirmations.
- Schedule and maintain good time management.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and utilize all guarding / protection. Check safety cables and safety bars are in good working order before starting.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Change machine setups and/or make minor adjustments to machines to produce product, which meets the designated product specifications for that particular workstation.
- Visual inspection of raw material, weigh compound before starting mix.
- Read and understand recipe before starting mix.
- Follow process specifications pertaining to the workstation assigned.
- Communicate effectively with fellow team members.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management (Such as weigh microspheres).
- Ability to learn/cross train on multiple workstations.
- Perform SAP confirmations.
- Schedule and maintain good time management.
- Put license plates on skids of rubber that have been inspected.
- Sweep around work station daily, replace empty drums.
