About The Position

Entegris is seeking a talented and motivated Welder to join its Gas Operations production team in Danbury, CT. This role involves independent fabrication of product components using weld equipment in a glovebox environment. Responsibilities include testing and inspection of various components for multiple product lines, and other tasks as directed. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and takes direction from a team lead. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where safety is paramount. The ideal candidate enjoys being part of a strong team, is dedicated to continuous improvement, and has experience working safely with hazardous materials or processes while focusing on production goals.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools and fixtures in a glovebox environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft office.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

• Demonstrating an aptitude and dedication to safety excellence
• 3+ years as a manufacturing tech or experience in a manufacturing environment where you had to process and complete work orders per a production schedule.
• Experience with grinders, band saws, facing machines and tube cutters.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in orbital welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of in-house weld process for product components in a glovebox environment.
• Support production demands of welded components including manufacture, data tracking, quality checks, packaging, and shipping to third party vendors.
• Support test and inspection requirements for various assembly parts as needed.
• Safely operate and maintain weld and test equipment proficiently.
• Follow Entegris qualified welding programs, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
