About The Position

Polysciences is looking for a Manufacturing Technician I to join our production team in Warrington, PA. This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you’ll receive training to produce and support commercial products used across our diverse portfolio. This opportunity is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following detailed processes, solving problems, and being part of a team. Previous chemical manufacturing experience is helpful, but we’re also interested in candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. This will be a 7 days/12 hour rotating shift from 5:30 am-5:30 pm.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or a related environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP or electronic maintenance systems.
  • Exposure to chemical manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform synthesis and blending batches according to the weekly production schedule.
  • Learn and follow established manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Work with other operational teams to troubleshoot equipment and technical issues.
  • Accurately complete batch records and other required documentation in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Perform routine departmental activities and preventive maintenance according to established procedures.
  • Assist with investigations involving production deviations or non-conformances and support corrective actions.
  • Support the introduction and transfer of new products into manufacturing alongside Engineering and Validation teams.
  • Follow all safety procedures, protocols, and 5S workplace standards.
  • Immediately report safety concerns, near misses, or incidents and assist with investigations when needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by properly documenting material usage, consumables, and waste.
  • Communicate production updates, issues, and concerns clearly with coworkers and management.
