About The Position
The Manufacturing Technician I assembles sensor cassette assemblies while following all applicable safety requirements, process procedures, and quality procedures. The position is part of the Sensors Value Stream at Radiometer in New Brighton, Minnesota, and is performed on-site. It reports to the Value Stream Supervisor. The role involves building sensors according to standard operating and quality procedures, assembling sensor cassettes as part of a team using semi-automated machinery, and inspecting assemblies for quality throughout the process.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to follow written work instructions in English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Follow precise Standard Operating and Quality Procedures to build sensors.
- Assemble sensor cassettes on a team using semi-automated machinery.
- Continuously inspect for quality during the assembly process.
- Ensure safety requirements, process procedures, and quality procedures are followed.
