Manufacturing Technician B- Multiple Shifts/Depts $26 - $31/hr
About The Position
As a Manufacturing Technician B, your goal is to use your technical expertise to be the go-to person for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in your area. You will also be responsible for setting up various production machines to ensure top-notch quality products are manufactured. This role involves maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for a variety of equipment, performing operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and be responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis to perform process or equipment adjustments. Additionally, you may train employees, assign and direct work, provide feedback to supervisors, and address complaints and resolve problems. Other duties as assigned may also be part of this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1.5 years’ relevant working experience to include; Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic skills
- Proficient Computer skills
- Must be able to use computers for email communications and data entry for quality/production systems
- Intermediate troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic knowledge
- Good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
