About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Rochester, NY facility. This role involves conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products using a variety of test equipment and logging information in technical databases. The position requires basic troubleshooting skills and operates in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team. Employees work 12-hour days, 3 days a week, and will be traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years prior experience.

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in an electrical technician degree program
Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory
Associates degree (technical discipline)
Electronics / RF Troubleshooting Experience
Experience with L3Harris MCC products and assembly processes
Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests
Familiar with basic test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers
Able to read and understand schematic diagrams
MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel (Oracle knowledge a plus)
Willingness to work and learn in fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities

Conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products.
Using a variety of test equipment and logging information in technical databases.
Basic troubleshooting.
Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).
