About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician 1 performs a variety of tasks in support of probe card manufacturing operations. This entry-level role supports high-quality production and process optimization in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The work is performed primarily in a clean-room manufacturing setting and involves following gowning, contamination-control, and safety procedures. The stated schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.; the position includes a 15% night-shift differential.

Requirements

Less than one year of related experience.
No formal occupational training is typically required.
Skills include algebra, cleanroom operations, communication, computer literacy, manual dexterity, mathematics, microscope use, Microsoft Office, self-reliance, statistics, technical problem-solving, and working independently.
Follow required safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE and clean-room attire for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Execute manufacturing processes including photolithography, thin film, etch, plating, assembly, test, and inspection.
Set up and calibrate equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
Collect and analyze operating data, make on-line equipment adjustments, and maintain process optimization.
Collaborate with engineering teams on tests and experiments to improve production processes or develop new products.
Assist in training and coaching other technicians, supporting teamwork, leadership, and technical skill development.
