The Laser Sinter Technician assembles Laser Sinter parts following drawings and work instructions. Additional training and/or education may be required

Responsibilities

Prepare Sinter Stations: Clean process chamber, door, laser window, IR sensors, roller, etc.; Monitor and calibrate laser power; Measure IR sensor sensitivity; Validate N2 and coolant flow; Weigh, sift, vibrate, and load plastic powder; Understand basic Sinter Station control operations.
Perform rough and final break-out of completed builds: Document cake conditions including color, firmness, and anomalies; Perform glass bead blasting operations; Sort and file tensile coupons; Perform sanding as required.
Basic Sinter Station and chiller maintenance: Perform required monthly checks; Perform minor Sinter Station repairs; Change seals and filters; Calibrate laser power.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
