Experienced technician supporting advanced manufacturing processes, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a regulated environment. Strong collaborator with engineering and quality teams, focused on safety, compliance, and efficient production. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area. Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems. Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area. Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment. Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.

Requirements

  • Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • Candidates for roles below Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • 10 years of experience in machining positions and a technical degree in mechanical fields or engineering.
  • Advanced blueprint reading: knowledge in reading, understanding blueprints and their tolerances.
  • Setup of tools and/or product to be manufactured.
  • Ability to reference machines according to the corresponding machine procedure.
  • Provide collaboration and support during Hypercare processes for machining implementation, including the management and monitoring of key performance metrics such as Yield, Output, and OEE.
