About The Position

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Requirements

  • 6 years with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of electrical experience evaluating, testing, building, troubleshooting, and repairing PCBA boards
  • Robotics/Automation equipment support experience
  • Allen Bradley PLC Training or OSHA 30 completion

Responsibilities

  • Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations (including QSE and ISO Standards). Has extensive knowledge of manufacturing safety, principles and hazards and mentors others in best safety practices.
  • Participates in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process. Complies with all Boston Scientific quality requirements and procedures.
  • Owns and delegates corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance tasks. Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.
  • Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.
  • Challenges existing norms and finds new ways to drive continuous improvement. Proven experience of execution on project timelines with high business impact.
