About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) factory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and testing of complex mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer requirements. The Manufacturing Technician will work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols. This position is available for a 1st shift schedule and is based out of Nashua, NH (NHQ). The work schedule is a 4/10- Monday-Thursday.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 3-5+yrs work experience in Manufacturing or similar
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Ability to possess and handle energetics
  • Experience working with large, complex builds
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wire bonding and/or module assembly
  • Experience with cleanroom equipment, including workstations, tools, and test equipment
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and procedures, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools, including 5S and visual management
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and procedures, including gowning, cleaning, and sanitizing

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test complex electromechanical systems, including sub-assemblies and final products
  • Sub-assemblies may include wire bonding
  • Operate and maintain cleanroom equipment, including workstations, tools, and test equipment
  • Follow strict cleanliness and safety protocols to maintain a cleanroom environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues and defects
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes and reduce defects
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assembly activities, including work orders, test results, and quality control data
