About The Position

The Manufacturing Tech I demonstrates proficiency and regularly performs assembly duties for large, small, and long test balls; municipal balls; tubes and inserts; rubber cutters; PET Foam; wall drains; PVC drains; kitting; drain kit packaging; and other specialty products. The position prepares and assembles components according to standard operating procedures, follows the daily assembly schedule, and sets up the equipment and tools needed for each build. The role may also involve ordering raw materials, staging and labeling products, and documenting completed and incomplete product.

Requirements

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints, or willingness and ability to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble components according to SOPs by reading, understanding, and following procedures.
• Follow the daily assembly schedule.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for the daily build schedule.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for the daily build.
• Stage and label product where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
