Your mission Guide 8–12 team members on the production floor under the direction of a Group Leader. Build capability, uphold quality, and foster a culture of safety and improvement. How you’ll make an impact Kick off each night with a sharp pre-shift huddle covering safety, quality, HR updates, and output goals. Train and support new hires, ensuring they understand Standard Work and feel confident in their roles. Safeguard the workplace by enforcing safe practices and securing proper PPE. Encourage and implement team ideas that improve flow, quality, and productivity. Surface issues quickly to the Group Leader and coordinate solutions. Maintain strong communication with other Team Leads and Leaders for seamless handoffs. Own KPIs and visual performance metrics for your zone. Create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work. Manage Hour by Hour Boards, complete 5S audits, perform DuPont STOP observations, and monitor work stacks. Coach through conflict and collaborate with Group and Area Leaders to resolve challenges. Use SAP to support production activities and data integrity. Assist with additional tasks that keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Experience leading others in work or volunteer settings.
  • Servant leadership mindset with strong people skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proven leadership track record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfort with standing for long periods; some sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, and bending.
  • Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
