About The Position

The primary purpose of the Manufacturing Team Member II is to perform a variety of assembly and inspection operations following written procedures to meet production and quality requirements. This role adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies, operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. The team member will set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per process specification, understand assigned tasks and their relation to others in the team, and work under moderate supervision where duties are clearly defined. Responsibilities include assembling component parts as per print, utilizing both manual and automated machine operation, visually and/or dimensionally inspecting parts with the aid of a microscope and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications, identifying and escalating quality non-conformances, completing required documentation, and potentially packaging product for shipping. The role also involves participating in team activities focusing on continuous improvement initiatives and expanding skill bases through on-the-job training, cross-training, job rotations, and classroom instruction. Other functions may be required as needed.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years related work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred.
  • Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred.
  • Previous light assembly experience preferred.
