About The Position

The primary purpose of the Manufacturing Team Member II is to perform a variety of assembly and inspection operations following written procedures to meet production and quality requirements. This role adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements. The team member will set up equipment, understand assigned tasks and their relation to the team, and assemble component parts using both manual and automated machine operation. They will visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts using a microscope and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications, identify and escalate quality non-conformances, and complete required documentation. Additionally, they may package product for shipping, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and expand their skill base through training and rotations.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years related work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred.
  • Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred.
  • Previous light assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per process specification.
  • Understands assigned tasks and how they relate to others in their team. Works under moderate Supervision where duties are clearly defined.
  • Assembles component parts as per print. Utilizes both manual and automated machine operation.
  • Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts with the aid of a microscope and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
  • Completes required documentation.
  • May package product for shipping.
  • Participates in team activities focusing on continuous improvement initiatives (all).
  • Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, job rotations, and classroom instruction.
  • Performs other functions as required.
