About The Position

The primary purpose of the Manufacturing Team Member II is to perform a variety of assembly and inspection operations following written procedures to meet production and quality requirements. This role adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies, and operating procedures. The team member sets up equipment for assembly/inspection as per process specification, understands assigned tasks and their relation to team objectives, and works under moderate supervision with clearly defined duties. Responsibilities include assembling component parts using both manual and automated machine operation, visually and/or dimensionally inspecting parts with magnification for conformance to specifications, identifying and escalating quality non-conformances, completing required documentation, and potentially packaging product for shipping. The role also involves participating in continuous improvement initiatives, expanding skill sets through training and cross-training, and performing other required functions.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years related work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.

Nice To Haves

Medical device experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints preferred.
Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred.
Previous light assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilizes both manual and automated machine operation.
Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts with the aid of a microscope and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications.

Completes required documentation.
May package product for shipping.
Participates in team activities focusing on continuous improvement initiatives.
Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, job rotations, and classroom instruction.
Performs other functions as required.
