About The Position

The Manufacturing Team Leader is responsible for leading a team for a particular department or group within the Manufacturing organization. The Manufacturing Team Leader performs technical and supervisory tasks as required. Work with the Product Line manager and team members to identify and organize the best approach to executing the tasks required. Plan, schedule, design and assign work for employees on one major and one or more minor projects simultaneously. Assign and monitor daily work schedules. Manage demands. Oversee completion of required documentation. Provide equipment and supplies as needed to ensure that work progresses in an efficient, safe and orderly manner. Perform or schedule and monitor routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. With the Product Line manager, set annual objectives and perform regular performance appraisals for team members. Provide required training and development. Identify process improvement opportunities; implement LEAN principles. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable. Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED an 10+ years of relevant experience or BSME BSEE degree
  • Minimum 3+ years of lead experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably assembly and testing
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in a manufacturing facilitity with welding, hydraulic and electrical testing are part of the assembly and test of the final products
