About The Position

As a Manufacturing Support Team Member – Level 2 in the J850 Assembly Department, you will play a vital role in supporting J850 production and related operational processes in a collaborative, team-based manufacturing environment. You will serve as a key contributor to production execution, quality assurance, and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that operational goals are met with efficiency and excellence. Support the execution and flow of J850 production, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Collaborate in cross-functional activities, including production planning, quality management, and process optimization. Provide hands-on support in coating processes, material handling, and inventory control. Act as a facilitator and mentor for self-directed work teams, promoting knowledge-sharing and team development. Deliver on-the-job training to enhance team capability and technical proficiency. Identify, communicate, and help resolve production-related issues, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Lead or support process improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. Apply prior experience and best practices in manufacturing operations to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and support operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience with Assembly operations
  • Experience with SFM, QADS, Engineering Drawings
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice To Haves

  • 5 plus years experience with Assembly operations
  • Experience with STK, NFS, and SVMS
  • Ability to teach and coach Assembly process requirements
  • Knowledgeable in lean principles and strategies
