About The Position
H&K Equipment is seeking a Manufacturing Support & Parts Coordinator to join their Coraopolis, PA team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth progression of manufacturing and remanufacturing projects. The coordinator will be responsible for ordering and tracking parts, liaising with vendors and external machine and fabrication shops, collaborating with engineering and the shop floor, and identifying replacement options for obsolete or hard-to-find components.
Requirements
- Must be able to read blueprints for machined components and fabrications
- Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems (ability to read schematics for parts identification)
- Must be able to perform independently with minimal supervision on projects
Nice To Haves
- Some form of mechanical background (i.e. mechanic, machinist, parts sales, etc.) professionally or hobbyist
- 2D or 3D drafting experience
- Use of basic hand measuring tools for quality assurance (Calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Ordering parts to support manufacturing and remanufacturing projects
- Working closely with 3rd party machine & fabrication shops to produce production parts
- Coordinating between engineering department and shop floor to keep production moving
- Tracking and managing ordered components from vendors to shop floor
- Parts research to replace antiquated components
