About The Position
Provide on-the-floor engineering support for commercial drug substance manufacturing at a biotechnology company in Juncos, Puerto Rico. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues in real time, monitor performance indicators, and recommend corrective actions. Support deviations, equipment qualification, and process validation, and implement equipment upgrades and modifications. This is a five-month contract with possible extension. The shift is non-standard and includes nights, weekends, and 24/7 support. The anticipated start is late October 2026.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment and processes in a GMP environment.
- Technical writing skills.
- English and Spanish language skills.
