About The Position

To ensure that all machine operators are continuously supplied with raw materials needed to continue running production. This role involves maintaining raw material levels for up to eight machines, setting up supplies for production, wrapping completed skids, managing waste and recycling, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. The associate will also be responsible for weighing and documenting materials, completing paperwork, and assisting other positions as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Adequate English skills as well as basic math skills are required
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment i.e. baler, hand jack, or floor sweeping equipment.
  • Constant standing, as well as walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing / warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain required levels of raw materials at all times for up to eight machines.
  • Set up all the supplies need to begin production.
  • Wrap all completed skids.
  • Remove all trash, corrugated, and recycle from the designated section.
  • Keep coil bins neat and rotated.
  • Return empty coil barrels to the card room.
  • Keep area safe and clean by assisting with sweeping of the designated section.
  • Weigh and document all scrap, recycle, and bulk materials.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and all required documentation.
  • Assist other positions within the department as needed.
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Complete all special projects and/or assignments as directed by the lead or supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned
