About The Position

The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee production operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve key objectives in schedule adherence, efficiency, quality, and cost savings, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This role involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement, promoting energy awareness, and managing assigned personnel, including day-to-day activities and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Ability to drive results in accordance with schedule.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Ability to interface with customers on a professional level.
  • Supervisory experience managing production employees.
  • Production schedule proficiency.
  • Production flow knowledge.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results in key areas, including schedule adherence, efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
  • Ensure training and development of personnel, including maintaining PMT online training status and Operator qualifications, and managing Special Process Authorizations (SPA) and world-class status.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular 6S audits, implementation of process controls, prevention of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), and utilization of statistical process control.
  • Promote energy awareness and develop plans to reduce energy usage in production areas.
  • Manage and supervise assigned personnel, including day-to-day activities and performance management, and discipline and corrective action for poor job performance, as needed.
