About The Position

EFCO is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead manufacturing and distribution activities for EFCO forming systems. The role involves supervising production operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency, while supporting inventory management and employee development. The supervisor will act as a key representative of management on the shop floor, promoting a positive work culture and continuous improvement in support of EFCO’s goals. Requirements

College degree or equivalent experience required.
Background in construction, warehousing, or distribution preferred.
Proven leadership and team motivation experience.
Excellent PC skills required.
Strong math skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Working knowledge of production operations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must work effectively under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
No travel required.
Ability to regularly perform all job functions at company office or worksite.
Ability to withstand environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, noises. Etc.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct leadership to hourly production employees while monitoring performance, ensuring accountability, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Administer daily production schedules, oversee departmental operations, and maintain alignment with EFCO’s quality and efficiency goals.
Manage the layout and organization of production materials, ensuring efficient use of space and inventory accuracy.
Coordinate raw material flow and finished goods movement to support customer delivery expectations.
Lead the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of hourly team members.
Conduct performance evaluations, guide career development, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Train employees on equipment use and enforce EFCO safety protocols.
Proactively identify safety risks, lead incident investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Support a respectful, team-oriented work environment by recognizing contributions, resolving conflicts, and encouraging collaboration.
Support special projects and broader plant initiatives as assigned by management.
