As a Manufacturing Supervisor – Day Shift (12 hours), you will report to the Manufacturing Manager and be responsible for the transformation of raw materials into semi-finished products (creams, deodorants, shampoos, etc.), in line with our clients’ requirements. Your role is to actively supervise the production floor, organize your team’s work, and ensure that each step of the process meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Present at the heart of operations on a 12-hour day shift, you will play a key role in engaging your team, achieving production targets, and ensuring a smooth and efficient transfer of products to the filling lines.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in team supervision and know how to mobilize your people to achieve objectives.
  • A DEC or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Operational Procedures (SOP).
  • Communicate with ease, know how to coach and develop the skills of your team.
  • Comfortable with computer tools (Windows; AS/400 is an asset).
  • A rigorous, structured and solution-oriented approach.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing — many customer procedures and internal communications are in English.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing equipment (pumps, mixers, homogenizers) and their role in product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the transformation of raw materials into semi-finished products in accordance with customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Control critical blend parameters (viscosity, homogeneity, temperature) to ensure compliance before transfer to bottling.
  • Ensure strict application of health and safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and factory policies.
  • Organize work and manage priorities to meet production schedule and limit downtime.
  • Ensure the availability and performance of manufacturing equipment (mixers, pumps, homogenizers) and intervene in the event of a problem.
  • Support, train and develop your team to strengthen their technical skills and autonomy.
  • Collaborate with other industries for smooth product transfer and optimal efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, respect and collaboration.
