About The Position

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading, developing, and supporting a team of manufacturing operators who produce life-saving medical devices. This position requires a hands-on leader who fosters an inclusive environment, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and drives continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. This is a 1st shift position, fully onsite in Billerica MA.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1+ Years of Experience

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience leading or coaching teams.
Demonstrated ability to work in a regulated environment (medical device, pharma, biotech, aerospace, or equivalent).
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in the medical device industry, with knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certification.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing metrics.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

Coach and supervise a group of Production Associates and Team Leaders
Train, develop, and motivate the workforce toward continuous quality improvement, a positive and safe working environment, and cost-effective operations
Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives
Work closely with Night/day Shift Supervisor and Planning to make sure that the right schedule is following, ensuring adequate staffing
Improve schedule linearity, reduce cycle times and inventory, reduce costs, and improve employee satisfaction
Promote an environment of employee empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement through lean principles, compliance, quality, personal growth and development
Participate in performing annual performance reviews, pay adjustments and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for all direct report employees
Deliver performance coaching and discipline to direct reports
Track OEE and Scrap across all processes
Update SOP, SWI to improve current process
Work on A3 and CAPA Investigation
Monitor product quality, react to quality incidents, and coordinate corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct regular and ongoing informational and improvement team meetings.
Monitor compliance to safety rules, work expectations and housekeeping standards.
Ability to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
