About The Position

As a Manufacturing Supervisor at our Portsmouth site, you will lead daily operations that help manufacture life-changing therapies. You will guide a team and play a key role in delivering high-quality biologics for our customers and patients. This role is based onsite, where working in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. This role follows a 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating schedule of alternating days: two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off (repeating cycle).

Requirements

5+ years of experience in GMP manufacturing, ideally in biologics or a similar environment
AS or BS degree in a science-related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and guide team members
Ability to make sound decisions using logic, critical thinking, and process knowledge
Experience supporting training, onboarding, or staff development activities
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow defined procedures
Ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to a positive work environment

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 6+ direct reports to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations
Guide and support team members while promoting a strong culture of safety and quality
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and deliver on time
Review batch records and documentation to support accurate and timely batch release
Train, coach, and develop team members to support performance and growth
Support continuous improvement initiatives and solve operational challenges
Perform administrative tasks such as shift handovers, meetings, and team communication
