Why Join Us | DuPont Careers The Pennsauken, NJ site currently has an opportunity for a First Line Manufacturing Supervisor and Site Training Coordinator to join our team. The Pennsauken site has approximately 25 employees and contractors and is a key chemical manufacturing facility that produces polyisocyanurate foam products and is aligned to the Shelter business of DuPont. The products manufactured at the Pennsauken site provide thermal insulation to meet building codes and play a major role in the overall operational efficiency over the lifetime of a building. This leadership role supports High Hazard processes and is key to our site and business success.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in safety
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Eight years or more experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
  • Microsoft office skills

Nice To Haves

  • Three or more years supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with tools such as Cority, Workday, or similar systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations team to safely achieve consistently excellent productivity
  • Support safe work practices and procedures across both operations and logistics.
  • Manage operations employees/contractors and logistics contractors
  • Schedule optimization (optimizing the schedule the scheduler plans to ensure fewest changeovers, best OEE, etc.)
  • Manage raw material delivery with supply chain
  • Manage work position scheduling, operator vacations, coaching, discipline, payroll
  • Lead daily Tier 1 meetings
  • Own and maintain site’s daily visual management boards to track daily KPI metrics
  • Hold quarterly 1:1 meetings and give annual reviews with all reports
  • Collaborate effectively with maintenance leader and quality control technician
  • Manage the site training program and timely completion of training on iLearn
  • Set up new employees with appropriate assignments
  • Manage skills training matrix to ensure effective cross-training
  • Arrange recertification training as needed (Maintain site boiler license renewal, 1-3 year PSM recertifications)
  • Additional specialized training such as CPR/First Aid, truck/railcar unloading, and Immediate Response Leader Training
