Manufacturing Strategy Engineer
About The Position
We are looking for a Manufacturing Strategy Engineer with strong analytical skills to drive continuous improvement across our high-volume semiconductor wafer fabrication operations. This Engineer will act as a bridge between demand‑driving product owners, the Capacity Planning team, and shift‑level execution. They will translate complex demand signals into dynamic run plans, uncover and resolve tool‑capacity and cycle‑time bottlenecks, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that increase equipment utilization and reduce throughput variance. The engineer will schedule tool work, coordinate maintenance‑day activities, manage spec activations, act as the shift’s voice, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams on automation, cost saving, and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields.
- 3–5+ years in semiconductor fabs, automated manufacturing, or factory operation roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Data analysis, Microsoft Office, and Project management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Production control, Capacity planning.
