Manufacturing Specialist
About The Position
This role involves working as part of a team to achieve manufacturing and quality goals. The specialist will resolve technical issues, provide guidance to team members and internal customers, and actively seek information for problem-solving and decision-making. Key responsibilities include ensuring priorities are met, projects are delivered according to plan (including sustainability objectives), and analyzing information to define project requirements and action plans. The role also requires ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice standards, contributing to continuous improvement using lean tools, and drafting reports for business cases and performance improvements. Supporting change management, embracing new digital tools and technologies, and collaborating on digital adoption are also crucial. The specialist will participate in personal development and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or working towards a professional qualification, OR High School/Technical/Associate/Vocational diploma with equivalent experience.
- Experience in production environment.

- Drafts analysis, recommendations, and reports to inform business cases, improvement plans, investigations, and performance improvements at higher business levels.

- Is eager to build skills in, quickly adapt to, and embrace new digital tools and technologies.
- Collaborates with team members to support digital adoption within the area.
- Participates in personal development activities and is responsible for the development of less experienced team members.
