About The Position
The Manufacturing Specialist Production Operator is responsible for monitoring machine and product flow to ensure correct packaging. This role involves loading large rolls of film for bag making and sealing, feeding the machine with product for continuous filling, and checking for proper sealing, cutting, and filling of bags throughout the process. The operator will also be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing the machine, conducting quality control tests on sealed bags, and troubleshooting and performing minor adjustments and repairs on the machine.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be flexible with schedule times and dates.
- Must be able to perform considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Must be able to carry product while climbing stairs.
- Must be able to work with machines.
- Must be able to walk on elevated surfaces.
- Must be comfortable with automatic equipment.
