About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology. As a member of the Manufacturing Operations Shift Team, the employee is responsible for performing activities that improve the flow of production through sections of the line, during their shift, while achieving world-class speed and quality. This role must have a clear understanding of the tools and systems that are utilized and the product that is being produced. Compliance with all security, health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines is required.

Requirements

  • Intermediate computer skills (>30 WPM typing ability)
  • Self-motivated and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to both follow and create documented procedures.
  • Ability to wear a cleanroom smock for an entire shift and lift up to 25lb.
  • Applicants must be authorized to access such information or eligible for government authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, evaluating, and interacting with software systems and computerized manufacturing equipment to maintain proper photo resist inventory and chemical age.
  • Routinely replace empty or expiring photoresist bottles: PR Bottle changes, PR Bottle aging, PR Bottle stocking, PR Bottle disposal.
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Effective communication and follow-through on any factors affecting manufacturing performance are essential.
  • Adherence to strict protocol policies is required, which includes wearing a cleanroom suit for extended periods.
