The position of Manufacturing Engineering Specialist offers hands-on opportunities to support production while improving manufacturing processes and systems. Requirements

• A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 1-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (or strong hands-on exposure)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
• A drive to identify inefficiencies and improve processes on the manufacturing floor
• Self-motivated and eager to learn through troubleshooting and exposure to new equipment and processes
• Strong critical thinking, accountability, and initiative
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Aptitude with hand tools

Nice To Haves

• A basic understanding of HVAC, controls, and mechanical systems would be an asset

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on manufacturing projects to improve layouts, processes, tooling, and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and system issues on the manufacturing floor, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Support and maintain production processes, equipment, and spaces
• Support customer orders through production while identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement
• Follow, update, and help refine production procedures and work instructions
