About The Position

This position will be located at our R&D Facility in Bloomington, MN. The role is responsible for all aspects of the production process, which may include running production, dispositioning M/Q's, crib coverage, EO request system support, assisting engineers on the floor, following up on quals/premeasure qual/Kanban outs, training operators, covering leads when they are not present, covering areas when short on employees, monitoring WIP groups, PC buffer release, cassette clean, and handling intransit lots/wrong rack. Other duties may include reticle activation/removals from/to iDurables, drift correction/ILW PM, and helping run PEALD and Qual tools to support PEALD|HPX. The primary responsibility is to support production to the current process for a specified toolset or task. Work from controlled processes and engineering instructions to construct developmental assemblies, production assemblies, sub-assemblies and components. May perform a wide variety of tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Perform inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Complete engineering requests as needed in the request system. Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Work production 20% of the time or as needed to meet shipping commitments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
  • Prior experience working with Wafer Build processes required
  • Demonstrated experience working on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required
  • Prior manufacturing experience in a clean room environment is required
  • Must be able to work an 8 hour shift in a clean room environment
  • Must have the ability to work day shift , Mon-Friday
  • Must have thorough understanding of Seagate systems (MES, RHOWeb, Xsite, Toolview)
  • Prior experience using computer systems and Microsoft office
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve goals
