About The Position

Join Agape Water Solutions, Inc., a division of UCC Environmental, a progressive and well-run company focused on customer relationships and environmental innovation. Agape Water Solutions manufactures Industrial and high purity water treatment systems and control panels, designed by Agape Water Engineers using 3D drafting and CAD software. The company provides water treatment equipment and assistance to industrial water users needing water beyond the purity level of municipal drinking water. The Technician will assist with manufacturing systems and control panels, and after proving capabilities and learning system operations, will provide field service. In the role of field service technician, they will act as a company representative providing hands-on service to current and new customers locally and worldwide. The Technician will safely build, install, troubleshoot, and service water treatment equipment.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma, Trade school certification or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience within the water treatment industry or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to learn and understand fluid concepts and instrumentation.
  • Must be able to learn and investigate problems with instruments and electrical equipment including flow meters, variable speed drives, temperature sensors, level transmitters, communication devices and interfaces.
  • Must be able to learn to inspect and test the operation of electrical and instrumentation equipment including PLCs.
  • Must be able to read and interpret piping, general arrangement, electrical drawings, loop sheets, schematics, and P&ID's.
  • Must be able to install, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools.
  • Good communication skills and highly responsible.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Mechanical and analytical aptitude.
  • Ability to work standing all day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to accommodate varying work schedules.
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to utilize full manual dexterity (i.e. sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting, walking, manipulating tools with limbs extended).

Nice To Haves

  • Stainless steel piping and skid welding certification a plus.
  • Wiring of control panels, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and adheres to safety guidelines, focusing on and consistently practicing safety as a top priority for all projects completed.
  • Installation and repair of water treatment equipment including high purity and industrial water treatment equipment.
  • PVC Piping installation.
  • PP piping.
  • Stainless steel assembly.
  • Monitoring inventory.
  • Financially responsible for spare part stock and work tools.
  • Provide onsite service and prepare reports.
  • All other duties as assigned.
