Manufacturing Shop Associate
About The Position
As a Shop Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have basic carpentry experience and the ability to safely operate small power tools. This is a hands-on position that may involve assembling and building products using tools and equipment, cleaning and preparing products for delivery or installation, operating machinery to produce and cut materials, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. We value a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. If you have a willingness to learn, we offer paid, on-the-job training to help you develop the skills you need to succeed.
Requirements
- Basic carpentry experience
- Ability to safely operate small power tools
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience and certification a plus!
Responsibilities
- Build drawers
- Cut rail and pole
- Sort, clean and organize products
- Inspects inventory for conformance to company standards
- Operate saws, edge banders, CNC machines. (Training provided)
- Operate a forklift to help move and store inventory
- Stage products
- Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
