About The Position

Midwest Precision is a CNC manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, energy, and fluid-power industries. We manufacture complex, close-tolerance components where quality, traceability, and reliable delivery matter. We are seeking a Sales and Customer Service Manager to strengthen customer relationships, lead day-to-day customer support, and coordinate closely with our operations teams. The right person will understand both the customer’s priorities and what it takes to deliver in a precision-manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Experience leading sales, account management, or customer service teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
  • Experience with quotations, order management, pricing discussions, and customer escalations
  • Ability to work across departments to resolve issues and meet customer commitments
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using ERP and CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • This position may involve access to export-controlled information. The selected candidate must be eligible for access in accordance with applicable export-control requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience with CNC machining, precision manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales and customer service team
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer relationships, concerns, and escalations
  • Oversee timely, accurate responses to customer inquiries, orders, and requests for quotations
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Quality on pricing, capacity, lead times, and delivery commitments
  • Monitor open orders and communicate changes or risks to customers promptly
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business
  • Review sales activity, customer service performance, and account trends
  • Improve processes for quotations, order entry, customer communication, and issue resolution
  • Support contract reviews and ensure customer requirements are communicated to the appropriate teams
  • Represent Midwest Precision professionally in customer meetings and business reviews
