About The Position

This position is responsible for the processes of reworks for all departments. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide ongoing manufacturing support throughout the composite and layer shop as required. Work safely to prevent injuries and follow all safety regulations. Ability to perform critical rework to Rigid, Rigid-Flex and Flex product lines to include but not limited to solder mask and Surface Finish. Evaluate, analyze and verify the cause of non-conforming product and associated assemblies. This includes product returns and final disposition, to help determine rework options. This may include customer interaction and internal engineering communication. Record notes and work with the Process Engineers and or Quality Engineers to document process and provide MCN for changes to the batch cards. Assist engineers and technicians in other departments as necessary. Monitor action items list and make progress against those assigned to you. Assist in update existing process specifications and write new ones as needed. Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying systematic problems. May be required to work off schedule to help support customer deliveries. Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management. This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends. May be required to cross train in other departments. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be motivated to make improvements and be a self-starter on projects.
Ability to provide timely, cost-effective solutions to problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a team player and willing to interface with and assist other workgroups as necessary.
Ability to multi-task and drive department toward business and departmental goals.
Ability to work standing for extended periods of time.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs. safely.
Basic Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
Must be able to legally work in the United States; unable to provide sponsorship.
Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Nice To Haves

Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering background preferred.
3 - 5 years PCB rework related experience preferred.
May be required to work off schedule to help support customer deliveries.
