At CCAM, the Manufacturing R&D Teams Manager plays a critical role in leading multiple teams of subject matter experts within manufacturing technology disciplines to solve manufacturing challenges. This position involves coaching, mentoring, and advocating for team members to develop a high-performance environment aligned with CCAM’s strategic goals. High performance at CCAM emphasizes a purpose-driven, collaborative, and learning-oriented culture, integrating strong technical capabilities with partner requirements to deliver excellent, well-managed projects. The manager will drive CCAM's growth, foster trust, and ensure long-term success by leading and advancing teams that execute partner-focused projects. CCAM is an ecosystem of collaboration with industry, government, and academia, focused on helping manufacturers solve real-world problems by developing and deploying new technologies. Their research builds intelligence in manufacturing processes and systems through experienced, multi-disciplinary teams, advanced digital systems, manufacturing process capabilities, and new technology. Active research areas include flexible and distributed manufacturing, adaptive automation, cooperative processing, advanced coatings systems, and intelligent repair and replacement. As an applied research center, CCAM has a strong resident staff including research scientists, engineers, industrial technologists, university faculty, interns, and graduate students who work collaboratively to deliver value to our customers every day.
