Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of experience as a quality inspector within a manufacturing setting.
3+ years of verifiable experience working in GD&T.
Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Must be able to pass an annual eye exam, resulting in 20/20 corrected vision.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Gagetrack calibration software.
Experience in aerospace is preferred.
Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with manual layout inspection techniques, CMM inspections, and machining processes such as turning and milling.

Responsibilities

Manage the site’s calibration system. Recall gages due for calibration, schedule outside supplier to perform all calibrations necessary.
Conduct detailed inspections of engine parts using precision measurement tools. Review specifications and blueprints to ensure compliance with aerospace standards. Identify and disposition non-conforming parts.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, measurement data, and non-conformance reports.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with other inspectors to share best practices and improve inspection methods.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and optimizing inspection techniques.
Assist in training new team members on inspection protocols, quality standards, and the use of measurement equipment.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality regulations, and company policies throughout all inspection activities.
Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to address quality issues, implementing effective preventive measures.
