About The Position

We’re seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, with primary focus on Sub-Assembly, Assembly, and End-of-Line/Functional Test. This role combines shop-floor problem solving, quality data analysis, investigation, reporting, and process improvement to identify and resolve manufacturing quality concerns. • Monitor, analyze, validate, and report manufacturing quality performance, including First Time Pass Rates, Overall Pass Rates, test performance, and other assigned Quality KPIs.
  • Investigate production and test abnormalities using process observation, data analysis, product tracing, test and inspection review, and verification of established controls.
  • Maintain a visible Quality Engineering presence on the production floor and partner with Operations and Quality Control to identify and respond to emerging quality concerns.
  • Develop initial problem statements, gather and validate evidence, coordinate immediate response and containment, and escalate complex or systemic issues to the appropriate Senior Quality Engineer or process owner.
  • Follow quality issues across process boundaries when evidence indicates a potential source in Machining, supplied material, equipment, measurement or test systems, or other manufacturing processes.
  • Execute approved tactical updates to Plex Control Plans and supporting controlled Quality documentation in accordance with document-control requirements.
  • Support structured root-cause analysis, corrective action, verification, and continuous-improvement activities related to manufacturing quality concerns.
  • Conduct or support process capability studies, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gage R&R studies, and other Quality Engineering analyses as assigned.
