About The Position
Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full time opportunities, as available. Qorvo’s Manufacturing Quality Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Experience applying problem-solving techniques through lab work, coursework, or project-based assignments
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Partner with process engineers to identify root causes and support corrective actions during problem-solving activities
- Monitor factory performance indicators, review action logs, and help follow up on assigned corrective actions
- Use metrology tools to measure key attributes across a broad range of incoming assembly materials
- Extract and analyze key indicator data to identify trends and recommend potential actions
- Support supplier quality engineering by assisting with discrepant material analysis and documentation
