About The Position
A leading national grocery retailer seeks a Manufacturing QA Technician for a six-month onsite contract in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. This position maintains food safety and quality standards throughout production through systematic inspection and documentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of QA or quality control experience in a food or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a production environment
- Availability for full onsite assignment in the Phoenix metro area
Nice To Haves
- Quality certification (ASQ CQT or equivalent)
- Experience with FSMA regulations
- Familiarity with statistical quality tools (SPC)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and random quality checks on production lines and finished products
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and escalate non-conformances and initiate corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and applicable food safety regulations
- Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment
- Collaborate with production supervisors to resolve quality issues in real time
