(CAPS) is a Houston-based, full-service HVAC company specializing in the design, fabrication, installation, and servicing of industrial and commercial air conditioning and heating systems. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to add to our growing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in HVAC, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Strong decision-making, delegation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of custom HVAC fabrication and assembly projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership.
  • Identify project tasks, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar tools.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
  • Track and manage project budgets to ensure cost control and financial accountability.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project changes, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assess results to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide direction, support, and coordination to cross-functional teams including engineering, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability across the project team.
  • Foster collaboration and maintain clear communication among stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports outlining project status, risks, challenges, and solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Support quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promote adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
