About The Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager (MPM) to support project management activities. This role involves managing schedules for automation equipment manufacturing, procurement of standard tools, cost account responsibility, risk identification and mitigation, resource timesheet control, and reporting within Manufacturing Engineering. The suppliers for these projects are located in the United States, India, and China. The internal team size is 24.

Responsibilities

  • Defining scope, creating project plans, setting collaboration reviews, and achieving milestones.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to monitor, update, and control the project schedule, maintaining the plan for supplier procurement, manufacturing, assembly, program integration, and trials.
  • Allocating, managing, and optimizing resources, and maintaining resource timesheet control.
  • Developing budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Identifying potential issues early, developing mitigation strategies, and resolving conflicts.
  • Organizing teams, fostering collaboration, mentoring the supplier and internal team on project management, and ensuring high-quality work.
  • Acting as the central point of contact for all supplier collaboration and day-to-day activity tracking of the team, reporting progress to the Program Manager, and managing the expectations of the cross-functional team.
  • Preparing project reports and ensuring the final deliverable meets schedule and cost requirements.
