About The Position

This position will be required to perform multiple duties ranging from general electrical work to automation systems design and programming. The team member must have a high electrical and programming aptitude with good hands-on ability. The Engineering & Programming Technician works independently throughout the manufacturing plant to analyze, modify, and build control systems to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of equipment and facility systems. Additionally, this individual may be called upon to assist in troubleshooting machine issues, to implement safety, quality, and productivity projects, and to introduce new products and processes. This individual will be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities that are machine and process related that can be improved through the use of technology. This position works with other technicians, tool room personnel, planners/schedulers, engineers, department managers, and operators during the analysis, build, and implementation phases of various projects. This individual may also work with the MES systems group to ensure that Pella control systems standards are applied and maintained.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform general electrical work.
