About The Position
As a Process Technicians you are responsible for operating and maintaining plastic injection & blow molding machines, ensuring our products meet all quality standards and customer expectations. This role involves monitoring and adjusting production machine settings, troubleshooting machines, performing basic maintenance, and checking product quality to assure it meets customer specifications. You will also team up with co-workers to identify continuous improvement opportunities and learn new skills with hands-on training and career development opportunities.
Requirements
- Mechanical inclination – you like to fix things, use tools, work with your hands.
- At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of injection or blow molding machines and equipment is a plus!
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Operating Sidel blow-molding manufacturing equipment along with Husky and Milacron injection machines.
- Monitoring and adjusting production machine settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure) to keep production running smoothly.
- Troubleshooting machines and doing basic maintenance.
- Checking product quality to assure it meets customer specifications (e.g., bottle weights, dimensions).
- Teaming up with your co-workers to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Learning new skills with hands-on training and career development opportunities.
